Come Download Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10:04) and Discover's New Features

New Ubuntu is finally ready to be downloaded Lucid Lynx neh. This version is the LTS version which stands for Long Time Support so you can get a three-year technical support for desktop and five years for servers.

What's new in Ubuntu 10:04 this?

1. New Default Theme: There are two options, namely Ambiance (Black) and Radiance (White).

2. Faster boot time: less than 10 detailed in the Dell Mini 10 (Netbook with 1.5 GHz processor)

3. 2:30 Gnome

4. MeMenu: New Menu, which replaces the menu for the active user

5. New applications:

  • Gwibber is a microblogging platform
  • PiTiVi, video editing software
  • OpenOffice.Org 02.03
  • Ubuntu One Music Store to buy music online
  • Firefox 6.3
  • Simple Scan to scan

6. Generate Linux kernel 2.6.32, which is experiencing a lot of speed improvement
