Cheap iPhone? Two Year Again!

Analyst Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray research institute back to make predictions horrendous. Munster says that Apple will release a cheaper iPhone next two years.

Munster estimates are based on the continued development of Apple's market share in emerging markets such as Russia, India, Brazil and China, known as BRIC area. Prices are cheaper iPhone is in the range of $ 200 per unit non-subsidized. For the current price of the iPhone is still relatively expensive because they get subsidies from mobile operators.

Munster called the opsel Apple partners poured a lot of money to be able to sell the iPhone. That's because they have to pay first iPhone bought by consumers and profits derived from the data plan for two years. On the other hand, Apple's competitors continue to produce low-cost smartphone with specs no less than the iPhone. Android smartphone, for example, at a low price was finally able to control 90% market share in China.
