Some time ago, Samsung filed a lawsuit against LG Display to a South Korean court OLED-related patents. There are 7 patents to be invalid according to Samsung. Now, less than a month later, Samsung re-shuffling LG with new demands.
This time Samsung registering lawsuits related to technology PLS (Plane-to-line) on the competitors. Not only that, Samsung is also trying to get 7 patents related to technology that is not valid.
Samsung is seeking a ban on sales of the infringing LG patents. Samsung said that if they have patented the technology in 1997. According to Samsung, LG has modified his PLS technology and markets as AH-IPS.
To perfect his demand, Samsung also plans to win 2 million won from LG Display. Hmm .. after being attacked repeatedly by Apple, Samsung is now apparently doing the same on the LG.
